FletcherTech is Fletcher Building’s tech division. They work together to shape the futures of all Fletcher Building businesses. With the opportunity to help drive technological excellence for more than 30 businesses across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, FletcherTech offers one of the most interesting careers in tech.

FletcherTech is the technology engine room that drives the digital innovation and transformation for all Fletcher Building businesses.  The FletcherTech team includes experts in every aspect of IT and innovation. At FletcherTech, they recognise the most important element of any team is its people. Brilliant solutions might be expressed through technology but they come from brilliant people.

They have a number of programmes, groups and networks within FletcherTech and the wider Fletcher Building Group that promote, encourage and support women. Below are just two of them:

Women in Tech

FletcherTech’s Women in Tech (WiT) group is a community where women can share and learn from each other while supporting each other to fufil their professional and personal ambitions.  WiT is a fully inclusive group that offers career support, mentorship and friendship, and ultimately increases the representation and confidence of women in all aspects of the tech sector.

Equality Network

Fletcher Building’s Equality Network is very active, organising a range of activities, events and webinars throughout the year.  Made up of volunteers from all areas of Fletcher Building, the networking group is on a mission to drive gender equality and greater female representation within Fletcher Building.

They have various other programmes that support FletcherTech’s female workforce. The Women to Leadership programme is an example of one of them.  This programme sees female workers spending a year in a group mentoring setting and completing specially designed workshops. The programme’s aim is to support the rise of women through the ranks at FletcherTech.
