Terms and Conditions for the “Chance to WIN $250K with Jobs for Mums” Competition

1. Promoter:

The promoter of this competition is Jobs for Mums Ltd (referred to as ‘the Promoter’).

2. Eligibility:

• The competition is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over.
  • Employees, contractors, and agents of Jobs for Mums Ltd, or associated entities, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
  • Only one entry per person is allowed unless otherwise specified. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
  • All required steps of the entry process must be completed to qualify.
  • Entrants must provide accurate and current contact information at the time of entry. Incomplete or inaccurate entries may be disqualified.
  • The competition is void where prohibited by law.

3. Competition Period:

• The competition commences on 7 November 2024 and concludes at 11:59 PM NZT on 15 December 2024.
  • Entries received after this period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter:

• To enter, participants must:
• 1. Register as a candidate on the Jobs for Mums website (www.jobsformums.co.nz).
• 2. Follow Jobs for Mums on any social media profile
  3. Share any competition posts to their feed or story
• 4. Tag others or Jobs for Mums on the competition post

• • All steps must be completed to enter the draw for a chance to win.
• • No purchase or payment is required to enter.
• 
  

5. Prizes:

• The grand prize is a chance to WIN NZD $250,000, subject to matching the pre-selected winning number held in a sealed envelope by an independent loss adjuster.
  • If the winner does not win the $250,000 prize, they receive an alternative prize from Jobs for Mums which is a 7- holiday for 2 adult and 2 children up to value to the value of $3,000, as determined by Jobs for Mums.
• For spot prizes are offering cheese hampers, coffee machine, Movie Projector, Kids Kitchen and a Bissell. 
  • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

6. Winner Selection and Notification:

• The winner(s) will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries on 16 December 2024 at 12:00 PM NZT.
  • An independent competition application will be used to ensure the draw is random, utilizing the Rafflys (AppSorteos) platform.
  • The winner(s) will be notified via phone, SMS, email, or social media within two hours of the draw.
  • If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, fails to meet entry requirements, or is ineligible, a redraw will occur.
  • Once the winner is selected, they’ll choose a number between 1 and 100.
  • The loss adjuster holds a sealed envelope with the winning number:
  – If the winner picks the correct number, they win the $250,000.
  – If they don’t, they will receive an alternate prize from Jobs for Mums.
  • This process will be entirely overseen by an independent loss adjuster.

7. Prize Collection:

• The winner must provide proof of identity and residency to claim the prize.
  • The prize must be collected within 30 days of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture.
  • Any costs associated with collecting or using the prize (such as travel) are the responsibility of the winner.

8. Publicity:

• By entering, participants agree to allow Jobs for Mums Ltd to use their name, image, and details for promotional and marketing purposes for up to 12 months after the competition ends without further compensation.
  • By entering, all participants agree to receive communications and marketing from Jobs for Mums in relation to their services.

9. Disqualification:

• Jobs for Mums Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry not in accordance with these terms, or engages in illegal or fraudulent behavior.
  • Jobs for Mums Ltd also reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who engages in automated entries, duplicate accounts, or other deceptive practices.

10. Liability:

• Jobs for Mums Ltd is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries, or other circumstances that may prevent or interfere with participation.
  • Jobs for Mums Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the winner as a result of accepting or using the prize.
  • Jobs for Mums Ltd shall not be responsible for any tax implications for the winner, who should seek independent advice if unsure.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by participants, tampering, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the competition.

11. Privacy:

• By entering this competition participants are also signing up to be job seekers on Jobs for Mums and therefore are subject to Jobs for mums’ privacy policy and terms and conditions.
• Participants’ personal information will be collected and used in accordance with New Zealand’s privacy laws.

12. Changes and Cancellation:

• Jobs for Mums Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without notice due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control, including force majeure events.
  • Jobs for Mums Ltd also reserves the right to extend or shorten the competition period.

13. Governing Law:

• This competition is governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
